Last year, four friends and I launched a joint project based on a passion that unites us: video games. Together, we designed and developed our own game, and to present it, I wanted to create a dedicated website. This site was designed as a way to promote our game and development company. It features an introduction to our team, our respective roles, and how we collaborated throughout the project.
But the main goal of this site goes far beyond a simple introduction: we want to share the entire universe of our game. Eventually, visitors will be able to discover an official trailer, screenshots, gameplay details, as well as a technical section explaining certain coding choices and the challenges we encountered.
The most important thing, of course, remains the ability to download and play our game directly from the platform. Each of us contributed our skills, whether in development, design, writing, or website management. It was a really fun experience, and we're proud of what we accomplished.
The game is a roguelike game the story takes place in a universe where junk food and good food are at war. Good food has captured members of the bad food, you! It has locked you in a nearly infinite dungeon. Your goal will be to get out alive by fighting those who imprisoned you using weapons, which are kitchen utensils that you can find in chests. But beware! Because at the bottom of each floor, a boss awaits you who will attack you with a huge strength. At each floor, the level and power of the ennemies is increased again and again. But you too ! You need to finish all the rooms of the floor to obtain the maximum of xp possible and upgrade your level and not die in this moldy dungeon.
We hope this site will inspire others to discover our passion, and maybe even join us!

The choose of AWS for this project is very simple, it's a very simple. It's a very good infrastructure for creating websites, it's very easy to use when you are not familiar with it and also it's very cheap. When you have your domain name, you've done the most expensive part (as a beginer).
For the copyright License, I choose to take the MIT Licence because it's a free one, he is accessible and it's an open one and I found it to be the most suitable for this type of work.

Butterfly games

A company operating in the video game development sector. Since its founding in 2017, it has unfortunately not yet released a successful game... but that’s about to change this year with the launch of Foodungeon, its brand-new IP.

Clément Bisiaux

My name is Clément Bisiaux, I’m 18 years old. I’ve been interested in computer science since middle school. During my 9th-grade internship, I created a website using HTML and CSS. I also wrote a specifications document and started working on the code and graphics (in Python) as part of a project in my Computer Science class (NSI). I’m the team leader for this project. I’ll be responsible for the website, and will also assist with sound design, multiplayer features, and the user interface. Additionally, I’ll help out in any other areas of the project where support is needed.

Guilhem Baechler

My name is Guilhem Baechler, I’m 18 years old. I’m new to the company, so this will be my first project here. However, I do have some experience in development — I’ve learned several programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python) during my studies, including the one we’ll be using for this project. I’ll be in charge of gameplay and user interface throughout the game’s development. I love to laugh.

Luan Lagorce

My name is Luan Lagorce, I’m 19 years old and I’m French-Vietnamese. Before joining Butterfly Games, I had never worked in a company before. I’ve developed skills in the field of game development, particularly in Python and Godot, which I used to create a game with a group of friends. Within the company, I’m responsible for the multiplayer component, and I also assist with asset and 3D model creation, sound design, and quality assurance.

Sven Kollenbach

My name is Sven Kollenbach, I’m 17 years old. I’m new to this company and to the professional world in general.
